Marine Maintenance

The program utilizes modern engine technology and test equipment to help enhance skills in the theory, maintenance, and troubleshooting of outboard and inboard marine engines. Students will develop a working knowledge of marine systems such as electrical, mechanical, cooling, fuel, boat design and construction, and trailer maintenance. The program has access to waterfront facilities, where students will operate and maintain vessels.  This program is partnered with Yamaha Motor Sports. Upon satisfactory completion of this program, the student will gain credentials within Yamaha Service Skills Training .   This program will focus an paid and unpaid internship opportunities for students in their senior year with various partners within the county.

Students Will

  • Prepare for the world of work but also additional training facilities in the event they wish to extend their studies within the cluster.
  • Participate in activities for the program in a state-of-the-art facility.
  • Access waterfront facilities, where students will operate and maintain vessels.
  • Explore a wide range of job opportunities within the field through internships, field trips, and other interactions with professionals within the industry.
  • Attain multiply industry valued credentials.
